Our mission is to empower every person on earth to rise above pornography and become their best self. We believe that being accountable to another person is the most important single thing we can do when trying to turn bad habits into good ones. Our apps make it easy to be accountable.
Ever Accountable started when Tyler Patterson wanted to protect himself from the temptation of pornography. Tyler believed then and now that watching porn is not just a waste of time, but also diminishes a person’s confidence, ambition, and the quality of their relationships. But Tyler’s search for protection was frustrated when existing internet filters performed poorly.
Tyler just wanted an app that would stay out of his way and hold him accountable to his wife Sharleen. In 2011 he started working mornings and Saturdays building the ideal app. He designed it to work the way he wanted for himself and hoped that others would find it useful too. That first app was released in 2012, and many people started finding it helpful. Other great people joined the cause to help expand and improve the app.
In 2023 Ever Accountable is now a team of 20 people. We believe stronger than ever in the life-changing benefits of living clean from porn. We believe in a world where every person is empowered to stay away from pornography and rise to their greatest potential. We’re doing all we can to make that dream a reality!
Each of our customers exemplify these values when they take action to live free from pornography. We admire that and try like crazy to live up to them too!
It takes grit to fight porn. It isn’t the easy way, at least not in the short-term. But you are doing it!
